elder number one
Alex Sefita, I haven't know Alex for very long actually. we became pretty close friends just a few weeks actually before he left to serve in the Angola Luanda, Africa mission. I am so thankful for the opportunity I had to hang out with Alex a few times before he left. he is such a funny guy & even after such a short time I know that he is a great friend. I kind of think of him as an older brother figure. someone who would kick anyone's butt for being mean to me. hahaha! it is crazy the difference between a boy the day they leave for the MTC and a week later. today I got an email from elder sefita and I honestly couldn't help but tear up, just by reading that letter you can tell he is a brand new person. (not that he wasn't great before he left too) the faith he has in The Lord is literally radiating of every word he says. I'm just going to share with you some of the things from my email today.
the number one thing I love that he said "have patients & keep the faith." it's like he knew exactly what I needed to hear I'm so thankful to get to hear from elder Sefita once a week.
elder number two
Adam Massey, oh Adam. I've known Adam for a few years now and he's never failed to make me smile, or laugh at one of his sarcastic comments. even in his emails now he can't forget a little bit of sarcasm! Adam is definitely one of a kind. I don't know another person like him and I'm so happy for the chance I have to be so close with him! Elder Massey was called to the Anaheim California mission. which I loved since he's such a small town boy :) I am so proud of the choice Adam made to serve. and I'm counting down the days tell he gets home! Adam has also influenced my testimony in such an amazing way. I love all my elder friendys.
I am so thankful for my family and my friends that are amazing examples to me every single day.  I feel so blessed.
xoxo, makaylee
