so anyways, I finally found something.
life. it has this really scary way of being absolutely unpredictable. so as you read this, think of all the things in your life that are 100% predictable and be thankful for them. consistency is a blessing in disguise. sometimes we get so used to the norm, the expected that we loose track of how much it means to us & we don't think about how weird it would be without those consistencies in our lives.
a list of consitiancies in my life:
-every other morning for over half of the year I KNOW that I will be waking up at 5:30 to go to cheer practice. {when I graduate and move on from the part of my life, adjusting will be really hard & I know it will be a big trial.}
-5 days a week for the past 11-12 years of my life I have had to wake up in the morning and get ready for school. difficult but let's be real, we don't have a choice. {when high school is over it will be a really difficult thing to adjust to, & I already know it.}
-every single ingle night of my life I come home and I get in my bed to rest my soul. {this is something that EVERYONE can relate to. & something we should all be grateful for.}
-every morning when I wake up, I see my family. my little sisters, mom & dad. {I know that when I move out, this will be one of the hardest things to adjust to.}
-I know that almost every single Friday of my high school career I will have a job, to cheer on the Hurricane Tigers. {I can't imagine not doing this, it is something that continues to put a smile on my face.}
these are just a few that I can think of for now, things that never seem to change. {at least not now.} and I honestly CAN NOT imagine my life without these things. these are things that make me happy, and have shaped me to the person I am. now on to people, I was gonna add them up there^ but people aren't things and they deserve their very own list.
a list of consistent people in my life:
-mom. my mom has been there obviously since day one. and for reals I can't put into words how much I love that lady. she is my best best best friend. she is HILARIOUS and she always understands me. anybody who knows her can probably testify to these things as well. she is the most amazing person I have ever met in my life. she never let's me down, and she continues to be the best mom she can be. she is consistent.
-dad {step dad-but really dad dad.} he has been in my life since I can even remember. he is always there for me, teaching me new things(how to ride a bike, how to ride a skateboard, TRYING to teach me math, teaching me to be responsible, and even how to turn on the defrost in my car.) he never ever ever has let me down and he means the world to me. also he is the hardest worker I have ever met, he sacrifices so much for our family. and he can fix ANYTHING. he is consistent.
-jacey. this little miss has been around since I was 5, and she has been putting a smile on my face since day one. she has the sweetest soul, and reminds me to be sensitive. now that she is getting older {11} she likes to talk about more grown up teenie bopper kinda stuff. she is sweet and she is the person I will call if I ever need help eating an entire pizza {we actually just did this.} she is consistent.
-oaklie. my little oak town has been around since I was 8 and she has my heart. she is the funniest, sweetest, most outgoing little girl I know. if you want a good laugh just have a full conversation with this little one. she may only be 8 years old but she can make me happier than lots. she is consistent.
I decided just to do my immediate family for this one cause really I could go on for days. but I just want you all to remember to be thankful for everyone\\everything in your life that is consistent. what would our lives be without consistency? of course unplanned adventures and memories are amazing. {but that's not what this post was about obviously.} so take the good ways with the bad, and just enjoy yourself. also go hug everybody that has and will continue to be consistent in your life.
happy Sunday everyone :')
